IBIOM Instruments

IBIOM Instruments

Founded in 1978 in Brossard by André Choquette, IBIOM Instruments started manufacturing video stations for training in radiology. Due our early international vision, those video stations were sold on three continents.

It was in 1996 that the first stretchers ECHO-FLEX™ emerged following a study by the University of Montreal. In 2003, the small company moved to Sainte-Adèle, Quebec, until 2007, then moved to Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships, when it passed into the hands of Mr. Jasmin Bibeau and Mr. Stéphane Mongeau. IBIOM is in strong growth since 2008, due to the commitment of the versatile and creative team that our company is proud to count on. In 2011, IBIOM received the “Innovative Company” award at the Gala Reconnaissance Estrie, as an acknowledgment of the numerous innovations in its products. With its renamed quality and the unmatched capacity to manufacture custom ergonomic equipment, IBIOM offers a solution to long-term musculoskeletal injuries due to work on a non-ergonomic workspace.

IBIOM is now in the conquest of new markets, in order to become a leader in ergonomic equipment for the health workers.
