At the beginning year of 2003, Behyaar Sanaat Sepahan was established as a medical equipment company, particularly in the field of manufacturing of hospital beds.
Based on the native knowledge, Behyaar Sannat has been trying to fabricate the state-of-the-art medical equipment for improving the treatment, around the Asia. Designing and fabricating the first operating-room LED light and the first electrical hospital beds in Iran, are just a few samples in this regard.
Nowadays Behyaar Sanaat Sepahan -as a knowledge base company- with around 90 employee has a strong potential in the new technologies such as Optical lenses for medical purposes, Real time processing, X-ray generators, Heavy industry and Nano composite materials, just to name a few.
Thanks to the Behyaar R&D section, we have the innovative products driving from our native knowledge. In fact, investing in R&D, which is an indispensable part of our policy, has had a direct effect on our development.
The high-tech project of Behyaar is LINAC. It has to be questioned that what is the LINAC? It is a medical linear accelerator -often shortened to linac- which is used for treatment of cancerous tumors by using of ionizing Radiation. This accelerator can be used in Radiotherapy, which is known as a suitable method for treating of cancer. The type of radiation could be the high energy electrons or X-rays. As a matter of fact, the electrons are accelerated within tube and extracted from the head of machine. The beam of radiation can penetrate inside the tumor in which there are cancerous cells. These kinds of cells can be killed by radiation, and as a result the tumor will be eradicated.
What is our motivation about LINAC project? According to the International statistics, in 2012 about 14.1 million new cases of cancer occurred globally. It caused about 8.2 million deaths or 14.6 % of all human deaths. It seems that a lack of adequate equipment has increased the rate of death among people suffering from cancer. As an illustration, the dearth of radiotherapy machines, LINAC, is a controversial issue around the world particularly in developed countries. So, as a dominant goal, we try to fabricate the medical linear accelerator for achieving better treatment and saving the people’s lives.
A new site of Behyaar has been constructing in the area of around 5500 m2, which locates in Isfahan Science & Technology Town (ISTT). Moreover, inside the new site there are two bunkers for doing all the tests of LINAC.
It is interestingly to mention that just five company are able to manufacture LINAC around the world due to high technology which is used in that machine , and Behyaar Sanaat Sepahan can be take into account as a 6th company in this regard. Considering our timetable, we hope to complete LINAC’s project until the end of 2015.
