The OES ProPDD resectoscope improves the detection of bladder cancers in particular carcinoma in situ (CIS), using photodynamic diagnosis (PDD) increasing the sensitivity and reducing the recurrence rates. For a clear pathology the resection in saline allows for good chips with minimal thermal spread.
