URF-P5 - Fiber ureteroscopes

The URF-P5 flexible ureteroscope incorporates features that improve access to the kidney and patient comfort within ureteroscopy. A unique bending design developed to match the anatomical shape of the kidney gives easy access, while the moiré-reduction filter ensures the best fibrescope picture available. The evolutionary tip of URF-P5 is designed to easily pass the scope up to the ureter making insertion exceptionally smooth.

Flexible angulation gives access to the whole kidney

Down angulation of 275° gives optimal visualisation of the lower calyx and up angulation of 180° is ideal for accessing the upper/middle calyces.

Significantly improved image quality

A moiré-reduction filter has been incorporated into the URF-P5 to provide an extremely clear fibrescope image.

Innovative tip design eases insertion

The URF-P5 is fitted with a slim 5.3 Fr Evolutiontip; a unique, tapered tip that can be aligned with the angulation direction, making insertion smoother.

Great control with one-handed operation

The scope may be angulated with one hand, allowing the simultaneous operation of other devices. In addition, the outer sheath has improved torque control.

Remarkable durability

The URF-P5 has a special new material in the outer sheath to minimise crushing, and thicker rubber in the bending section to resist puncturing.
