The Cortex CO2 Erbium YAG Laser by Sandstone Medical Technologies is the ultimate skin resurfacing workstation. Two laser wavelengths, the CO2 laser and the Erbium YAG laser, are used for deep skin resurfacing and superficial skin rejuvenation, respectively. This work station is therefore capable of providing a number of treatment options that address a wide variety of dermatological indications. This workstation can perform surfacing treatments on wrinkles, acne scars, pigmented lesions, and sun damage.
Superficial resurfacing treatments are available for atrophic acne scars, uneven pigment seborrhic keratosis, and photo-damaged skin lesions. The Cortex workstation features a unique ablation technology that lessens any patient discomfort as well as lessening patient downtime. This workstation does not involve the use of any consumables.
