Hinged knee brace, long version, wrap-around design
Long and open knee joint stabilizing orthosis with splints made of elastic material having very good properties in terms of air permeability and moisture drive-off . Available in an open version, which features Velcro for adjustment of the upper and lower part of the orthosis. This makes the product easy to put on, especially for elderly people and patients with limited fitness. Application of light, side polycentric traction splints secures instability of knee joint in side and paracentral directions. The stabilizing orthosis features locking wedges that adjust range of motion in extension and flexure. Additional belts increase stability and allow to maintain correct position. Features anatomical shape and a profiled construction around the area of popliteal space. Thanks to increased length of thigh and tibial area the product can be used by very tall patients and when stronger stabilization is necessary.
