Useful in the Pediatric Burn Unit, the RCAI Resting Hand Unit Orthosis is heat moldable thermoplastic that offers optimal patient customization. It discourages ulnar or radial deviations and reinforces the orthosis for accommodating muscular tone and spasticity. It offers a fully functional resting hand positioning following trauma, injuries, or stroke. It is also useful in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, arthroplasties, or burns. It has a closed cell foam liner that repels fluids and it is resistant to bacteria and it can be washed in a mild soap and water.
