The SureStep HyperExtention Knee Orthosis device or HEKO, is a fully functional device that is intended for use on smaller pediatric patients. It is designed to limit knee movement without limiting the normal functioning of the knee. Each HEKO that is delivered is custom designed based on the patients anatomical features.
The four-axis knee hinge allows highly accurate adjustment during placement. HEKO units for small children come not only in HEKO Custom configurations, but also in HEKO Pre Fab configurations.
