Using GOD enzyme technology prevents galactose, icodextrin, or maltose from interfering with this machine. Using individually wrapped foil testing strips, this machine quickly tests both neonatal and capillary blood. Results appear in 5 seconds and require only 0.8 μL of blood. Within 3 seconds a sample re-dose can be preformed if required. Easy disposal is possible due to the strip and lancet ejectors. This device operates in two steps. The battery lasts for up to 3,000 test. Excellent diabetes tracking is provided as it keeps track of 300 tests as well as the date and time of each. Trends in blood glucose levels can be monitored over 7, 14, 30, 60, and/or 90 day periods. Downloads to computers are easily accomplished by USB cables. The product features hyper, hypo, and ketone warning as needed. Before and after meal markers are included as well.
