The Endobronchial Double Lumen is a new design of endobronchial tube from Portex. A broader range has been developed, not only to meet the demands of clinicians, but to provide for the needs of smaller patients. The device has a softer, straighter tube and a less complicated cap design. This new version is available in six sizes: 28, 32, 35, 37, 39 and 41, in both right and left orientations. The Endobronchial Double Lumen device is color-coded for ease, with the pilot balloons and extension tubes being imprinted with Bronchial (blue) or Tracheal (clear) in order to differentiate between the appropriate cuff and lumen.
