The LED-based MI-500 is a new examination light that combines energy-efficient technology and functionality. For diagnostic procedures or exams, it delivers a white light beam and exceptional performance. It has the same compact design of the Centry examination light, but takes the technology to a new level. There are a variety of configurations available, some of which have a sterilizable handle (optional). Low heat is emitted from both the light head housing and beam. The output is rated at 40,000 LUX (3,700 ft candles) at a 24-inch distance. The light is white and more color correct than halogen exam lights. You can expect high-efficiency with half the energy consumption of the standard halogen light. The MI-500 features a compact 6-inch diameter head design with impressive arm articulation.
