ELEFANT Transport Stretcher is designed for patient transport inside hospitals. The stretcher is made of steel sections covered with a powder varnish, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, mechanical damages, disinfecting and cleaning agents.
The pallet height adjustment, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions are realised by a foot controlled hydraulic pump. The backrest segment is adjusted by gas springs with interlocking. Large 200 mm diameter castors with 5th wheel ( option) and central brake system provide excellent mobility and stability of the stretcher.
Thanks to filling the pallet with X-ray translucent HPL board, it is possible to take X-ray pictures. Additionally the stretcher can be equipped with holders for X-ray cassettes mounted under the pallet which enable taking X-ray pictures along the pallet’s entire length (option). The stretcher is equipped with 4 protective bumpers for impact protection. The mattress is made of polyurethane foam covered with an artificial leather. Chasis cover with shelf and space for oxygen bottle.
