The Letti Sigma is an electric bed designed for use in the ICU. It is comprised of 4 sections, 1 of which is fixed centrally, the other 3 are jointed. It is set on four antistatic wheels with a central brake and one directional. The mattress platform is made from ABS and has a mattress stopper. The base frame is constructed from welded epoxy-coated steel and the wheels have a thermoformed ABS cover.
The frame includes proper housings for fitting a patient lifting pole and IV poles at the four corners. The height can be adjusted with a pair of electric pedals and it has a maximum lifting load of 260 kg. The four sections include safety sides and total protection is given with integrated electric controls on both the inner and the outer side.
