In 1976, the developer of state-of-the-art medical technology at a well-known company in Munich was hired by an established firm in the conservative naturopathic sector. This company, which had moved to Iffezheim in Baden, offered him irresistible and excellent career prospects.
After just 18 months, Karl-A. Hübner realised, however, that only by founding his own company would he be able to turn his innovative and ground-breaking ideas into reality. He founded that company and named it “Technomed”.
Just a few years later, the company’s extensive and innovative portfolio of products already included solutions for medicine, research and science. The products still offer excellent reliability, quality and customer satisfaction, even today. The secret to the company’s success is its excellent value for money, constant availability and minimal follow-on costs. This became apparent when the guarantee cover was increased to 10 years for ozone tubes – an incredible achievement, given that the usual industry guarantee at that time was just 6 months.
