The company ADE was founded in Hamburg in 1934 – initially as agent for TACHO products in Germany. During world war II the company was completely destroyed.
After the war, the company was rebuilt and from that time on it concentrates on the production of scales and professional kitchen equipment.
The name ADE is a synonym for scales and professional kitchen equipment of durable, long lasting and high quality. The famous fan-shaped scales – which are still sold worldwide even today – made the ADE company famous far beyond Germany's borders. Today this model is just one example from ADE's first-class portfolio.
