Nerve monitor –a medical device which is designed to monitor the patient’s nerve system in order to reduce the risk of nerve damage during surgical procedures. Used in Otorhinolaryngology. Nerve stimulator is a technology which is used for stimulation of the nerves for therapeutic purposes and can be used for pain relief on a long-term basis. Peripheral nerve stimulation is most commonly used for ongoing monitoring in the intensive care unit. Used in Otorhinolaryngology.
