Cotton swabs - simple tools which consist of a small wad of cotton wrapped around one or both ends of a short rod, usually made of either wood, rolled paper, or plastic. They are used for different purposes, such as first aid, cosmetics application, cleaning, and arts and crafts. Gynecological spatulas - broad, flat, wooden blades which are used to collect vaginal mucous membrane. Used in Gyneco-obstetrics.
