Volume and pressure control with excellent user-friendliness are of maximum precision.  Reliability and safety are crucial in ventilation. One of the greatest challenges lies in the ventilation of newborns: this requires the highest precision in volume and pressure control. Bellavista combines the latest technology with a precise dosage of the airflow for our smallest patients. The software design of bellavista allows the recording of new functions by a simple software update. This means a safe, complete and future-proof ventilation device with unrivaled user-friendliness.

Invasive ventilation:

For newborn infants whose ventilation is dosed via the volume, survival is more likely without lung damage. The support of the ventilation is shorter and a goal-controlled breathing supports the prevention of pneumothorax and leads to more stable carbon dioxide values.
The bellavista Neonatal option Target Vent provides a complete ventilation platform with target volumes from a tidal volume of 2 mL for patients with very low birth weight. Target Vent modes can also be used for non-invasive ventilation.

Non-invasive ventilation:

The sensor detects changes in the respiratory flow patterns with a very high measuring frequency. Bellavista always gives more breathing options at hand. Bellavista nCPAP can be used based on pressure or flow. The nCPAP mode monitors the breathing frequency and provides additional security through an apnea alarm.

Backup ventilation:

Backup ventilation (by burst) provides maximum safety during nCPAP ventilation. By presenting a certain number of breaths, apnea can be prevented without changing to apnea ventilation. The newborn breaths further in his own spontaneous breathing rhythm.
